Capital of Quercy Blanc

Montcuq is a medieval village built around a 12th century squared dungeon. The twin windows, half timbered arches and facade and noteworthy lintels and gates illustrate its eventful history and give it all its charm.

Stage ont the way towards Santiago de Compostela

The dscapes can be crossed by foot on the many hiking paths and hikers stop at Montcuq, stage on the GR65 path starting from Puy en Velay.

Cafés-restaurants welcome you at the heart of the village. 
The famous Montcuq market, held every Sunday morning all year long, offers many products, lamb, goat-cheese "Cabécous", melon, truffle,...with recognised labels and designations.
